Highball Halloween
For the annual event Highball Halloween, in 2023 the Short North Alliance decided to include a projection mapped display. We helped them choose a wall with very interesting geometry on the outer facade of the Columbus Convention Center. The installation was quite a challenge from a projection mapping standpoint because the convention center’s exterior has a lot of architectural details that needed to be carefully considered. To make sure the projections looked consistent and smooth for everyone watching from the street below, we had to adjust various parts of the projection scale and placement. Our team handled everything from the creative design to the technical setup, providing a comprehensive solution that turned important neighborhood landmarks into vibrant, animated displays. This project allowed the Short North Alliance to make a strong impression with their first big foray into large-scale projection art, transforming the area into a stunning visual experience for everyone to enjoy.
Art for Life 2023
For Art for Life’s annual fundraiser at the Columbus Museum of Art, we designed a bespoke projection mapping installation for the museum’s atrium. Our team crafted animations that were intricately aligned with the geometric patterns of the tiled wall, ensuring that every projection seamlessly integrated with the existing architecture.
City of Berea Jack Frost Festival
For the City of Berea, Ohio’s Jack Frost Festival in 2021, we transformed the downtown Huntington Bank building into a dazzling holiday spectacle with a custom projection mapping installation. We designed unique, holiday-themed animations that highlighted and complemented the historic building’s architecture, making the structure come alive with festive cheer.
Pet Supplies Plus Corporate Summit
At Pet Supplies Plus’ annual corporate summit, our agency created a captivating visual experience that set the tone for the entire event. We developed custom 2D and 3D animations designed specifically for a unique three-screen stage setup, ensuring seamless integration across all displays. The animations were meticulously crafted to align with the company’s brand identity, incorporating signature colors and animal iconography that brought the brand’s personality to life. From dynamic transitions to animated backgrounds, every visual element enhanced the event’s atmosphere.
ASAE Conference 2018
In 2019, the American Society of Association Executives (ASAE) held its annual conference in Chicago. The ASAE conference is a premier event for professionals in the association and nonprofit sector, drawing thousands of attendees from across the country. As part of the event, a significant element of the closing session involved announcing the location for the following year’s conference. For this momentous reveal, the ASAE team sought to create an engaging and visually impactful presentation that would generate excitement and anticipation for the upcoming conference in Columbus, Ohio.
